Gator has a built-in tool which allows you to export all data Gator has stored about how you have used the service.
To export your Gator data, open Slack and run the "/gator export" command. This command will prepare a CSV file export of your Gator message history.
For messages which have been delivered, the export will show non-personally identifiable metadata about the message, such as when it was created, what Slack channel it was sent to, and when it was delivered. For messages which have not yet been delivered, the export will also include those messages' contents.
When you run the "/gator export" command, Gator will upload the CSV to your direct message Slack conversation with the @Gator bot. If you wish to delete the file after you are done referencing it, follow these instructions from the Slack Help Center.
If you wish to delete all your Gator data, see our "How can I delete my Gator data?" article.
