🧪 Gator beta feature 🧪
This feature is new to Gator and may change. Have questions or feedback? Email us at help@gator.works.
By default, messages you send with Gator will include the text "(sent with '/gator')" when your message is delivered to its recipient. Early versions of Gator did not include this feature, but we got feedback from users that it was helpful for a message's recipient to know that the message was authored earlier.
If you want to disable this feature, however, you can do so by running this command in your Slack:
"/gator beta-omit-annotation-enable"
You'll see a confirmation message like this:
You can confirm this setting is working correctly by sending a test Gator message to yourself: open your Slack DM with your own username, send yourself a new Gator message, and then change its delivery time to be in the next few minutes. A few minutes later, you should see your message get delivered without the "(sent with '/gator')" annotation.
If you change your mind and want to re-enable the annotation, just run this command:
"/gator beta-omit-annotation-disable"
