Gator securely stores your messages and erases their contents immediately after delivery. See this article to learn more about how Gator stores your data.
Deleting your Gator data takes one step for most users, and two if you upgraded your Slack workspace to a paid Gator subscription.
If you are on a Gator free trial or someone else upgraded your Slack workspace to a paid Gator plan
When you first used Gator, you authorized Gator to connect to your Slack account. To delete your Gator data, simply revoke that authorization. See this article in Slack's Help Center to learn how.
As soon as you revoke your Slack authorization for Gator, Gator will automatically delete all messages you have sent with Gator, including any which are pending delivery. You have now deleted your Gator data.
If you upgraded your Slack workspace to a paid Gator subscription
Users who upgraded their Slack workspaces to a paid subscription should perform the instructions above first. This will delete all the data Gator stored about you through your usage of the service.
When you set up your paid Gator subscription, you provided Stripe, our payment processor, with additional data necessary to complete the transaction. To finish deleting your Gator data, please email us at privacy@gator.works and we will delete the remaining elements of your personal data from our systems and from Stripe's.
We will comply with your request within seven days and notify you of completion.
